Sith trial

Having just hit 18, a young Sith Apprentice is brought by her Mistress to a holding cell. There, a female prisoner stands, one who had once tried to be a Sith but failed, bound to a pole. The Sith gives her lightsaber to the Apprentice and instructs her to kill the prisoner.

The girl looks at the beat up, tortured prisoner in horror. She knew Sith trials would be difficult, and that the price of failure was harsh, but she never imagined she would have to face both in a single instant.

The prisoner then started to beg for her life, trying to convince the Apprentice not to go through with it, that the Sith are corrupt and that she should fight back. The Mistress simply laughs at the taunts, and pushes her Apprentice closer. The girl shakes at the thought of killing a tied up prisoner.

She knew her Mistress loved inflicting pain, and was borderline crazy, having abused the Dark Side so much to become a Sith Mistress at only 27. But the Apprentice had no other choice. She had left the Jedi, embraced the Sith ways, and now she wanted to please her Mistress, to become someone important.

She took a deep breath, then struck, killing the prisoner in one quick blow, before letting the weapon drop to the floor. With a large smile, her Mistress spun the Apprentice around and embraced her, telling her how proud she was of her, and what a great Sith she would become.

As she was being held in her Mistress's strong arms, the Apprentice let herself forget about what she had just done, leaning forward against her, simply enjoying the moment.
